0.6.1 - Autosaving


This patch fixes some crashes in 0.6, and also introduces an auto save feature to prevent data loss if a crash happens.

Additions

  • Added autosaving
    • Default autosave interval is 4 minutes
    • Autosaves run on a background thread and don't interrupt gameplay
    • You can turn off autosaves in settings
    • There is an autosave indicator on the HUD that you can also turn off
  • Added panic saving
    • Panic saves are trigged when the game crashes
    • It saves the game to a seperate file, so you dont lose progress
    • This feature is off by default

Changes

  • Modified lamp textures so they show their colour even when fully lit
  • Monsters can no longer spawn within 7 blocks of the player

Fixes

  • Fixed mob cap becomming negative over time
  • Fixed crash when trying to render non-ascii/non-latin text
  • Fixed dynamite duping when exploding
  • Fixed recipe book dupe glitch
  • Can now place blocks with no collider inside the player (eg, torches at feet)
  • Fixed crash in recipe book when viewing a listed recipe's recipe
